We serve. We comfort.
We nourish.We care.

A volunteer-run foundation meeting real human needs: food for the hungry, company for the lonely, help for families in hardship, and care for the world we share.

Community Giving Moment

Everyone has something to give.

We are not defined by programs. We are defined by people — those who need help, and those who choose to help. Every dollar goes toward practical needs: food assistance, outreach supplies, and direct community support. There is no paid staff and no administrative layer between your gift and the work.

What we do

Simple, direct, and carried out by volunteers.

Serve the poor

Comfort the lonely

Feed the hungry

Care for the environment

Why Francis

Born into wealth in Assisi in 1181, Francis could have spent his life pursuing status and comfort. He chose humility instead. He walked away from his inheritance, embraced the poor he had once passed by, cared for the sick, and insisted that every person carries dignity and worth.

More than eight hundred years later, the idea still holds: what we possess matters far less than what we give. His example is the reason this foundation exists, and it shapes how we work — quietly, person to person, without ceremony.

Start by doing what is necessary, then what is possible, and soon you are doing the impossible.

St. Francis of Assisi

Ways to take part

Time, talent, or resources; each one is needed.

Give

Make a one-time gift or become a monthly partner. You can also give securities, recommend a grant from a donor-advised fund, make a qualified charitable distribution from an IRA, or leave a legacy gift.

Volunteer

Serve meals, visit someone who is isolated, help at an outreach event, or support the coordination behind the scenes. No special background is required.

Partner

Churches, businesses, and civic groups can host joint outreach, run a food or care drive, share space, or sponsor an initiative. Employer matching can double an individual gift.

Share

Tell someone. Awareness creates connection, and connection creates action — much of what we do begins with one person mentioning it to another.

Give what you can.
Do what you can.

An hour, a meal, a donation, a conversation. Together, we can make a better world, one act of service at a time.
